Course Summary:
This course is intended to provide a person with the knowledge of the contents of the International Aeronautical and Maritime Search and Rescue Manual (IAMSAR), Volume III, and is designed to meet STCW requirements for Search and Rescue at the Operational Level, in accordance with the 2010 Manila Amendments, specifically as stated in Table A-II/1 and Table A-II/3 for certification as Officer-in-Charge of a Navigational Watch (OICNW) on vessels of 500 gross tonnage or more, or Master or OICNW on vessels of 5.
