Chesapeake Marine Training Institute (CMTI) is an internationally recognized, professional maritime training provider and continues to expand.  In order to meet our customer’s needs, we are considering applications for highly motivated, full time, part time, contract and adjunct instructors.

To be considered for employment, applicants must hold a valid US Coast Guard license at the Master, 200 GRT, Near Coastal level or higher with a minimum of five years of sea time.  Prior military or public service aboard vessels with the US Coast Guard, US Navy, US Army, US Army Corps of Engineers, Military Sealift Command (MSC) or NOAA is a plus!  Applicants must be comfortable in a classroom environment and be skilled at sharing their knowledge with others.  Public speaking skills are a must with full command of the English language. Applicants should be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance should the need arise.  Infrequent travel may be required.  Comprehensive employee benefits package available.
