Course Summary:
This course is intended to provide a person with the knowledge, skill and understanding of the various weather systems, reporting procedures, and recording systems. The course is designed to meet STCW requirements for the application of basic meteorology, in accordance with the 2010 Manila Amendments, specifically as stated in Table AII/1 and Table A-II/3; Function: Plan and conduct a passage and determine position.
