This program was developed by Hudson Trident Corporation and is
being presented through the auspices of Offshore Marine Services
Organization (OMSA). The Hudson Trident training program for
SSO/VSO and CSO/FSO has been certified by DNV Seaskill® to be
compliant with the ISPS Code. 33 CFR §104.225 states that all
other vessel personnel, including contractors, whether
part-time, full-time, temporary, or permanent, must have the
knowledge of, through training or equivalent job experience in
the following:
- Relevant provisions of the Vessel Security Plan (VSP);
- The meaning and the consequential requirements of the
different Maritime Security (MARSEC) Levels, including
emergency procedures and contingency plans;
- Recognition and detection of dangerous substances and
devices;
- Recognition of characteristics and behavioral patterns of
persons who are likely to threaten security; and
- Techniques used to circumvent security measures.
This 4 hour program will provide your vessel crews the
information and knowledge they need to meet this training
obligation and protect your valuable equipment from security
threats.
