    • USCG Drug & Alcohol policy
    • Company expectations
    • Crew integration, Career paths, Advancement opportunities, Personal evaluations
    • Chain of command, Shipboard life, Sea/shore rotation, Shipboard customs & courtesies
    • Shipboard sanitation, Personal Hygiene, Work duties, Watchstanding
  • Responsibilities
  • Complete 8-hour USCG approved/STCW IMO compliant First Aid & CPR course
  • Vessel terminology including setting watertight integrity
  • Shipboard emergencies
  • Shipboard fire prevention and firefighting including hands on practice with portable fire extinguishers
  • Marlinespike seamanship including practical line handling
  • Deck maintenance including hand tool usage, safety and surface preparation and painting
