This course provides classroom training in basic assistance towing techniques, terminology, and safety to the meet training requirements for issuance of a Commercial Assistance Towing Endorsement to a US Coast Guard License. The course satisfies the requirements of 46 CFR 10.301 – 303 and any student successfully completing the course will satisfy the examination requirements of 46 CFR 10.482(b) for endorsement for Commercial Assistance Towing for Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels through Master 200 GRT upon Great Lakes, Inland and/or Near Coastal waters.
